This is my former retreat quarters on the upper level of a two-story single-family home. Currenly the down stairs unit is furnished and rented as an airbnb.  It's possible to rent those quarters as well as the upstairs  thus making it a whole house rental.  The in-law unit downstairs has a separate entrance so visiting family or friends can be totally comfortable and each maintains their privacy.

 

The bedroom has bamboo flooring, a closet organizer, a ceiling fan, and windows offering West and North views.  The bathroom does have a bathtub, BUT with the view from the new large window, a shower is always my first choice, especially at sunset.

 

While there are a washer and dryer room shared by both units, there is also the option to hang out your clothes.

It's a cook's kitchen with gas stove, loads of storage, gas range and new fridge with bottom freezer. There are even views to enjoy while cooking.

 

The Santa Fe style custom paint design may not be what a one would choose for their home, but it so far, Everyone seems to love it.

 

There is a wood-burning stove to knock off the chill in the mornings, however, the passive solar windows make it unnecessary during the day.  

 

All the lighting is from the Minka line of fixtures... they really illuminate the quarters with such grace.
